Rosaline Ann Urbansok

Rosaline Ann Urbansok (77 yrs old) peacefully passed on November 23rd with her loving husband of more than 53 years right at her side. Rosaline was born on May 24th, 1944 in Milton of Campsie, Scotland to John and Catherine McAloon. She was very proud to be the older sister of John Cyril (2016), Thomas, and Irene. Rosaline loved to share memories of their childhood together which was filled with laughter, mischief, kindness and appreciating simple things in life. From a young age Rosaline aspired to travel, move to America and live a life of being curious. She traveled to Cleveland, Ohio in 1966, and worked as a nanny. Shortly after she met the love of her life, Don, and they were married on July 13th,1968. As soon as they married Don's job in the Air Force began to take them on what would be a life filled with adventure and travel. As a family they moved 12 times and traveled to assignments in England and Germany, along with 10 different Air Force bases in the U.S. They also took side trips to Holland and Iceland. During these travels and adventures together, they raised 3 beautiful daughters Marie, Michelle and Tracey. Rosaline and Don settled in Enon, Ohio in 1987. Rosaline spent 20 years, until her retirement in 2009, working at Wright-Patt Credit Union. In her retirement, and before, Rosaline was a voracious reader and enjoyed spending time at the local library picking out books and reading the local newspaper. She loved frequenting her favorite local restaurants, enjoying senior exercise classes at the YMCA, shopping, enjoying the family garden, watching the birds, squirrels, rabbits, and chipmunks that visited, along with spending time with Molly, their beloved canine companion, and most importantly getting ready for their next trip. Whether it be to a small town nearby or the Grand Canyon, Rosaline was always ready to travel and explore. Rosaline was deeply proud to be Scottish and enjoyed sharing Scottish traditions, humor and music with others. Rosaline loved to dance and boogied to the tunes of Andy Stewart up until the hours before she passed away. It brought her joy when others marveled in her accent and asked to hear stories of her life in Scotland. Rosaline's greatest love and passion in life was her family. Don and their 3 children Marie, Michelle and Tracey and her grandchildren, Aaron, Alexis and Sébastien, whom she loved to talk about and share pictures of. She always had time for a call with her daughters to chat about anything and all things. She encouraged her children and grandchildren to live a life filled with love, laughter, independence, dance and most of all travel. Rosaline was and will always be immensely loved by family, friends and left a special memory with even those she just met. Her memory and wishes will continue to live on through her husband Don, her daughters Marie Niska (Brice), Michelle, Tracey (Steven Nodot), her grandchildren Aaron, Alexis and Sébastien, and her brother Tom (Susan) and her sister Irene (Pat Meechan). She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Catherine, her brother John Cyril, and a baby sister, Marie. In recognition of these trying times during a pandemic the family suggests in lieu of flowers donations to be made to: The Little Sisters of the Poor, who serve the elderly poor in over 30 countries around the world, or A local Animal Rescue organization of your choice. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 6:00 Friday, December 3, 2021 in Adkins Funeral Home, Enon.
