Liam Hobbs Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Liam Joseph Hobbs, born September 16, 2005, of Enon, Ohio gained his angel wings on January 22, 2021. Liam, a freshman at Greenon High School leaves behind a multitude of family and friends: his loving parents Joe and Brenda Hobbs and sister Joselyn; grandparents Joseph and Diana Hobbs of Fairborn and Barbara Buck of New Lexington as well as aunts and uncles Eddie (Laura) Buck, Charma (Doug) Duperow, Cindy (Jeff) Savage, Candy (Steve) Cox, Jim (Laura) Buck, Belinda Buck and John McGaughey, and Sarah (Josh) Chrum along with a host of cousins and other relatives. He is preceded in death by grandfather Bennie Buck and great grandparents Dave and Joyce Wood (Grampy and Mawmaw). Liam brightened the lives of all who had the honor of knowing him. He loved singing, telling jokes, and enjoyed being one of the guys watching MMA and hanging out at Bdubs and talking sports. He was an avid sports fan and could be seen cheering on his beloved Greenon Knights on football Fridays and dreamed of one day working for the Dayton Dragons. He also enjoyed his time each summer at KAMP DOVETAIL where he made friends and enjoyed his time just being Liam and charming all who had the opportunity of being in his presence. He quickly became a favorite of campers and staffers alike. He had an infectious laugh and a smile that lit up any room. Although Liam will leave a void in the lives of many it is safe to say that he is now in Heaven offering suggestions to the Lord about how things need to be done. He will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Greenon High School,3950 S. Tecumseh Rd, Springfield, OH, in the gymnasium.
