Ronald Lacy Whisman, 82, of Enon passed away Friday, April 2, 2021 in Springfield. He was born Saturday, April 23, 1938 in Franklin, Ohio to the late Donley and Minnie Dalton Whisman. Ronald retired from the U.S. Air Force before working as a plasterer specializing in historical renovations. Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Patricia “Pat” Whisman, whom he married April 11, 1959, a daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Howard Finkelstein of Enon, a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Kathy Whisman of Centerville, a brother, Paul Whisman, three grandchildren: Corey, Jennifer, and Jacob, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and six siblings: Lillian Hall, Shirley Bray, Richard Whisman, Gene Whisman, John Whisman, and Frank Whisman. Ronald’s family would like to thank the staff at Forest Glen Health Campus for their excellent service and loving care. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in Adkins Funeral Home, Enon. Burial with military honors will follow the service in Enon Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
