Mabel Grace Hall

Hello : February 5, 1929. See you later: March 17, 2022 Mabel Grace Hall has joined her husband Fred , daughter Loretta Jane and son Bobby Ray in a place they call home. Let us rejoice ! Mabel Grace was born on February 5, 1929 to Ernest Harry Lee and Zella Jane Jackson Lee, at Muses Mills of Fleming County KY. Being the eldest of eight, Mabel didn't fare long at school, as she quit to work the fields to help her family. She never stopped learning , as she chose to walk with Our Lord and listened to him daily. Mabel was fierce when she prayed. If she prayed with you, you knew that things would be better. Who was Mabel closest to among her siblings? Each of them felt that they were. Yet no one can deny that Mabel Grace and Mary Etta were two "peas in a pod!!" Especially with only a year between them. When the both of them decided they were ready to marry, they wanted to make money to help make it happen. A tobacco patch became their plan. They made a 50/50 deal with the farmer that they would produce a good crop. Now Mabel and Mary were no strangers to hard work! Work done, money made! Fred M. Hall married Mabel Grace Lee on February 11, 1947. Mary Etta married William P. Johnson. The two sisters homes were close together as they raised their families. Never a dull moment being around the Hall and Johnson's families as they worshipped together and played together. Mabel and Fred always loved being at the Lee Cuz'in Reunions. The 25 Cuz'ins and their families thoroughly enjoyed them being there! Playing volleyball, kickball, or a rousing game of musical chairs; the two oldest on the playing field would be Mabel Grace and Fred. Being as well loved as she was , Mabel always knew of all the little "goings-ons" of the Lee family. She would tell her sister Betty June to, " keep that under your hat! ". They often shared so much that they decided they needed bigger "info" hats! Age 90 came quickly for agile Mabel Grace. Needing to go a slower pace found her at Wright Rehab & Care where she received comfort and care along side her youngest son , Bobby Ray. Mabel Grace's granddaughter Lori was employed there , where they were truly blessed with being able to see her beautiful smile and hear her loving voice often, making things a little easier for Mabel to bear. Mabel Grace was many things to many people. The one attribute that she had was "Grace". The giving of compassion, kindness & love. She lived for God's grace and found refuge "Under his Wings" Mabel is preceded in death by her husband Fred, daughter, Loretta Jane Hartman, son , Bobby Ray Hall, sister, Wilma Lou Bryant brother, Wayne Lee twin sister & brother Bonnie & Donnie Lee Mabel Grace is survived by Mark (Patti) Hall of Midland , TX and Linda (Harry) Holsinger of New Carlisle, OH Grandchildren; Lori (Chad) Bocook - Fairborn , OH Jennifer (Boe) Bryan - Bryan, TX Marcus (Megan) Hall - Chicago, IL Lisa (Lenny) Arnold - New Carlisle, OH Kevin (Jessica) Holsinger - Chesapeake, OH Brian (Denise) Holsinger - New Carlisle, OH Great Grandchildren; Taylor (Ryan) Berman, Ashley(Nick) Delk, Sutton Bryan, Derrick Arnold, Olivia and Evan Holsinger, Jamie and Emily Holsinger.
