Scott "Scooter" Yablonski

Scott Richard Yablonski, 57, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026. He was born July 7, 1969, to Richard Yablonski and Judith (Howard) Daniels, in Dayton, Ohio. Scott had a deep love for the outdoors. Hunting during deer season in Jackson, Ohio held a very special place in his heart where he made many cherished memories with friends and family. Fishing, however, was his true passion. He was a dedicated and proud member of the Ohio Crappie Club, where he loved competing in tournaments. He loved his boat and was happiest with a fishing pole in his hand. He looked forward to every tournament, the excitement of being on the water, and all the friendships he made along the way. Those who knew Scott will always remember the fishing stories he loved to tell. Scott, affectionately known as, “Scooter”, had a major love for Harleys and was also a proud member of the Grey Riders Riding Club, where he was able to share good times and make memories with all of his brothers on the open road. Scott took pride in his work as a Head Custodian for Oakwood City Schools, a role he truly enjoyed. He loved the people that he worked with and the relationships that were formed throughout the years. Scott was always willing to lend a helping hand with the students, who adored him. Scott’s infectious smile, laughter, and playful joking manner could light up any room he walked into. He had a way of making people feel welcome and comfortable, he never knew a stranger. His kindness, humor, and larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the laughter, happiness, and joy he brought into the lives of so many. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, and his stepfather; Clifton Daniels. He is survived by, the love of his life; Chelsea Patrick, his son; Trevor Yablonski, of Dayton, OH, his daughter; Hunter Schond, of Dayton, OH, his sisters; Kelly (Roy) Mechling, of Surprise AZ, Tammy (David) Sizemore, of Hillsboro, OH, his cousin Paul (Martha) Daniels, of Enon, OH, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Adkins Funeral Home, in Enon will be assisting Scott’s family with his final wishes.
